Signs of problem gambling:

There are a variety of signs which can help you to determine whether or not you are likely to have a problem with gambling, we’ve gone ahead and detailed some of these for you.

  • Gambling beyond your financial means.
  • Experiencing financial difficulties due to gambling.
  • Neglecting social obligations and responsibilities, such as family visits or work attendance.
  • Feeling frustration, anger, or anxiety when unable to gamble.
  • Continuously trying to recover losses by placing more bets.
  • Using gambling as a coping mechanism to escape life's challenges
  • Dishonestly representing the amount of money or time spent on gambling.
  • Concealing gambling activities from friends, family, or loved ones.
  • Resorting to lying, borrowing, stealing, or fraudulent activities to obtain gambling funds.
  • Prioritizing gambling over other discretionary expenses.
  • Experiencing feelings of shame, anxiety, depression, or even thoughts of suicide due to gambling.
